The new creation from O Lisboeta joins Delta to honour the most ordered drink in the country.
It was at the end of 2020 that friends Catarina Belmarço and Sebastião Lorena created a project that reinvented the traditional chocolate salami. Instead of serving it in slices, they took the Portuguese recipe and gave it a new shape: bonbons coated in chocolate, with a crunchy biscuit inside. And now there is a new flavour to try.
We decided to create a different proposal, as an alternative to the sweets and desserts that already exist. The goal is to make chocolate salami a daily option in the lives of Portuguese people, just like pastel de nata.
Although O Lisboeta was created five years ago, the project continues to innovate in its flavours. To the classics of milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate, new versions have been added, such as salted caramel, white chocolate with almond, dark chocolate with almond and milk chocolate with almond.
Anyone who wishes to try it can buy the new flavour for €2.10 per unit. There are also packs of six units for €12, or ten for €19.
In addition to the flavours already available, the brand launches a new one every month to offer more variety to customers. This month, in partnership with Delta, O Lisboeta has introduced a flavour inspired by the most consumed drink in the country: coffee. The product combines chilled chocolate salami with the intense aroma of Lote Portugal.
This limited edition is on sale at all O Lisboeta stores and at Delta The Coffee House Experience. You can also order online with the option to pick up at Amoreiras.
