After reaching the global Top 20, Delta Cafés is now setting a new goal: to become one of the world’s Top 10 coffee brands.
To prepare for this next stage, the Group has made the largest industrial investment in its history. More than €20 million have been invested in Novadelta, in Campo Maior, strengthening production capacity and preparing the company for a new cycle of international growth.
The investment includes doubling production capacity from 100 to 200 tonnes of coffee per day, new production and packaging lines, a high-capacity roaster, new storage silos and a photovoltaic park.
The new green coffee warehouse, considered Delta’s “vault”, has the capacity to store enough raw material to guarantee around six months of production, strengthening the stability and resilience of the operation.
Today, Delta Cafés serves around 14 million coffees per day, is present in 50 countries, and exports represent 35% of its turnover.
But reaching the Top 10 will require much more.
We’re not going to reach the global Top 10 by simply doubling our sales. We’re going to reach the Top 10 by selling five times more than we do today.
This ambition will be achieved through international growth, continuous innovation and sustained investment over the next decade, while preserving the values that have always set Delta Cafés apart: proximity, quality and long-term vision.
